Why Are My Eyes Itch At Night

boys versus girls - Review

just released " females against males" to cinema, I saw the opportunity to recover " boys versus girls," the first chapter came out a few months ago in theaters and now available for hire. This time Fausto Brizzi brought to the screen four different stories that should, in theory, tell the stereotype of the battle between the sexes.

Marcello ( Fabio de Luigi ) is a new father who must deal with the advances of a volleyball player of the his team, Diego (Alessandro Preziosi ) is a womanizer who has to deal with impotence after the rejection of the nearby Clare ( Paola Cortellesi ), Nicoletta ( Carla Signoris ) is a woman in crisis half age and ultimately betrayed by her husband Andrew ( Nicolas Vaporidis) must "play" the love of Francesca ( Sarah Felberbaum ) a very indecisive girl, with her best friend Marta ( Chiara Francini ).

Brizzi continues the tradition of ensemble comedy that began in 2009 with "Ex " in which he tries to imitate the British films and Americans looking for (maybe) to Richard Curtis in him. Thus, copying a bit 'right and a bit' to the left, always tries to give us decent Italian food and non-standard. But this time the result is a comedy that is not fun for next to nothing.

to function better, is the episode featuring Cortellesi Paola and Alessandro Preziosi, the only one to follow a logical thread and to be slightly more credible than others, but then completely destroyed in the end. Fabio De Luigi continues to do the same character, the classic Italian average forced to handle situations big of him keeping his classic comic comics that now is no longer funny (at least to me) because hackneyed. Certainly does not help being the center of a story unlikely and strategic surface (see the bad volleyball player). Nicolas Vaporidis ... well he sorvoliamolo. Brava Chiara Francini instead as actors, and Paul Ruffini shoulder as comedy, the episode along with their starring Carla Signoris however, are not worthy of consideration.

There remains to vent our little laughter in the few seconds available to Massimiliano Bruno incredible in the role of psychologist tactless also because of the enormous cast available is not even exploited. The rest is a confirmation of what had already seen, namely that Fausto Brizzi, although it is now running at our cinema, is a bad film, not at all able to direct the ensemble comedy in an acceptable manner. Not that it was better as a writer ...
